Requirements
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience using Modern C++ in production (expert level knowledge)
  • Theory and practice of distributed systems design
  • Knowledge of multi-threaded, non-blocking and asynchronous programming
  • Delivering highly performant, real-time software
  • Knowledge of Linux, real-time operating systems, resource optimization and reservation
  • Proficiency with C++ toolchain (build & CI tools, compilers, debuggers, profilers)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (Nice to have)
  • Awareness of the open-source ecosystem in AV and CV space (Nice to have)
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the architecture of the Dexterity Platform Software
  • Implement platform software components to meet quality, performance, observability, and real-time characteristics
  • Develop and support real-time applications in C++ that have been in production for multiple years
  • Analyze requirements, review code, mentor other developers, and communicate best practices via documents
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend new tools/components to improve solutions
