Requirements
  • Experience (minimum 3-5 years preferred) with in-house or agency experience managing social media channels and paid campaigns on social media networks, graphic design, print production, designing for web, and packaging
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS6 including, but not limited to, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, with demonstrated graphic design and creative ability
  • Excellent organization and time management skills, action-oriented and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and a sense of urgency
  • An eye for modern design with a good understanding of luxury products
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Thorough understanding of the printing process and stock choices to bring design to life
  • Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Be the voice of Fairmont Pacific Rim in the digital space, engaging with our online community across platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, hotel reviews, and blogs.
  • Build and manage relationships with our digital guests, creating authentic and memorable online interactions.
  • Craft creative, compelling written content, blogs, website copy, social media, and digital ads, while proofreading and editing to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Stay ahead of digital media developments and pop-culture trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
  • Design and produce eye-catching web ads and animated collateral, while maintaining strict brand standards across multiple brands.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute social media content in alignment with our overall strategy, while producing effective print and digital marketing materials (ads, newsletters, invitations, brochures, media kits, gifting, packaging, websites, etc.).
  • Manage paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, including ad management, A/B testing, bid management, and audience research.
  • Monitor campaign performance daily to ensure KPIs are achieved, while creating, updating, and presenting detailed performance reports.
  • Apply your knowledge of SEO best practices, both on- and off-page, as well as optimization strategies.
  • You have a strong understanding and experience with Google Analytics, able to make data backed decisions.
  • Capture high-quality photo assets (product, lifestyle, event, flat lay), with strong knowledge of lighting, studio setup, and DSLR photography.
  • Edit and refine photo and video content in post-production, ensuring polished, brand-consistent results.
  • Contribute to video content creation and assist with copywriting for promotional materials as needed.
  • Ensure all creative work meets quality standards while collaborating with internal stakeholders to bring new ideas and campaigns to life.
  • Support additional projects and team initiatives as required, working with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
