Requirements
- Have a BA/BS or a background you feel is equivalent
- Be confident in your ability to navigate ambiguity and manage through complex processes
- Enjoy optimizing processes and thinking about how to automate your job
- Have a strong preference for working with great tools, and be comfortable working with or learning the tools we use (Mercury, Greenhouse Onboarding, Gusto, 1Password, Notion, Slack, Google Admin, etc.)
- Have a system for staying organized and a good head for data
- Listen with patience, attention, and empathy
- Have diverse interests and enjoy learning about other people's interests
- Have a sense of humor (doesn't have to be a good one)
Responsibilities
- Maintain our HRIS systems and keep other People tools up to date (e.g. manager changes, salary changes, promotions, leave status, separations, etc.)
- Provide both administrative and strategic support for various different People processes (e.g., employee engagement surveys, performance reviews)
- Manage immigration cases, visa sponsorships, and leaves (e.g., parental leave, medical leave) by partnering with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and programs as they come up (Examples: Building policies, developing training materials, developing reports)
- Serve as our point of contact for various external vendors
- Continuously monitor for better platforms and tools for the People team
