Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Deep analytical experience in healthcare operations, particularly ambulatory and/or clinical service lines.
  • Strong analytical expertise with the ability to link financial performance to clinical and operational drivers.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues collaboratively and familiarity with service line administration, preferably in an academic medical center, multi-hospital, and/or outpatient practice setting.
  • Ability to translate between financial data and clinical operations, including access, throughput, and provider productivity drivers.
  • Superior financial skills, including accounting and forecasting, with a proven track record of financial analysis supporting healthcare operations.
  • Highly effective communication, management, and leadership skills, including the ability to conceptualize, plan, facilitate, and execute consistently and effectively.

  • Experience collaborating with high-performing teams aligned with strategic initiatives and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Support a broad system-wide portfolio, including Surgery, Cardiovascular, Anesthesia, and Ambulatory Surgery Centers across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
  • Support the Senior Vice President, Vice President, and operational leaders with day-to-day performance and long-term planning.
  • Advance operational and financial performance through business planning, detailed financial and operational analysis, and integration of internal and external market data.
  • Operate effectively within a highly matrixed, multi-layered organization and provide operational analytics and decision support to senior leadership.
  • Partner with directors to manage budgets, monitor financial and operational performance, and identify opportunities to improve revenue, access, and efficiency.
  • Interpret, prioritize, and act on operational data while challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making.
  • Independently drive and support business plan development, market and competitive analysis, Case Mix Index evaluation, and identification of contribution margin improvement opportunities.
  • Assess cost-benefit scenarios, including outsourcing and process redesign, to capture opportunities and improve financial performance.
  • Develop an understanding of clinical workflows, provider productivity, access metrics, and patient flow to ground financial analyses in operational reality.
  • Translate operational drivers into financial performance opportunities and actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with leadership to identify expense savings, revenue cycle and billing improvements, and process improvement and efficiency options.
  • Represent operations in high-impact, high-cost areas and facilitate discussions, build consensus, and drive execution of initiatives improving efficiency, throughput, and overall performance.
  • Assess current-state performance and develop financial and operational models using internal data and industry benchmarks such as Sg2 and Vizient.
  • Support site-of-care optimization, service line performance improvement, and strategic growth planning through data-driven business cases.
  • Identify and quantify opportunities for revenue growth, capacity expansion, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with leadership to implement initiatives and track outcomes tied to measurable financial and operational improvements.
  • Gather, synthesize, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Develop recommendations and present findings to senior leadership, incorporating feedback and iterating as needed.
  • Conduct detailed analyses with the Senior Vice President and Finance to inform operational strategy, growth planning, capital investments, expense management, and revenue enhancement.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing financial performance management with the Senior Vice President and Finance team.
  • Collaborate with the budget office and operational leaders to review, analyze, and respond to monthly variance reporting.
  • Prepare written reports and presentations of analysis and present them to senior leaders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

(“TriSalus” or the “company”), an oncology company in the process of going public through a business combination transaction (the “Business Combination”) with MedTech Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq: MTAC) (“MedTech” or “MTAC”), today announced that it has expanded the reach of its ongoing Pressure-Enabled Regional Immuno-Oncology™ (“PERIO™-01” and “PERIO™-02”) clinical program.In recent months TriSalus has opened five new PERIO™-01 (NCT04935229) clinical trial sites, at Stanford University Hospitals, University of California Los Angeles, University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Washington Medical Center and University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, in addition to five previously activated sites.
