Job Title: Application Engineer (multiple openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, Illinois
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production. Understands the software development lifecycle and leverages critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Position Required Skills: Position requires experience in the following: Developing and maintaining complex backend systems; Working with key stakeholders to design complex solutions and leading them from inception to production; Creating and maintaining DevOps processes and application infrastructure; Utilizing cloud services, including database systems and models; Supporting live systems to ensure business continuity; Building applications using Java, SpringBoot, cloud technologies, including PCF, AWS, and OCP, Microservices, REST APIs, and version control tools, including GIT and Jenkins; Automating testing using Junit, Cucumber, and TDD; Using Relational Database Management Systems, including Oracle.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $106,558.00 to $150,200.00 Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
