  • Deep understanding of product development processes, market analysis, and financial management. Familiarity with optical technologies used in telecom transport and transmission applications.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement product line strategies, that align with the company's business objectives and market opportunities. Develop, communicate and implement a clear product vision and roadmap for the product line, aligning it with product line strategies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer pain points, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy, positioning and development decisions.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch. Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to execute product development initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Own the profitability of the product line, making strategic decisions related to pricing, feature prioritization, and resource allocation. Ensure products meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences. Advocate for customer needs throughout the product development process. Use customer feedback to drive product improvements and innovation.
  • Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product line performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster collaboration and driving high performance.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging creative solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and performance to internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team and investors.
