Bish Enterprises adds mechanical follow-steering option to FiberCut. Bish Enterprises, Giltner, Nebraska, is expanding the capabilities of its award-winning FiberCut harvesting system with a mechanical follow-steering option designed to improve maneuverability and operator control in the field. Designed to harvest industrial hemp, kenaf and other tall biomass crops, the FiberCut addresses the challenges of cutting and handling long-stalk fiber crops that can be difficult to bale and process. The FiberCut has become a fiber crop harvesting solution, earning a 2026 AE50 Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for innovation in agricultural equipment. The optional mechanical follow-steering system builds on that award-winning platform by improving maneuverability in contoured fields, reducing the space required to make turns and giving operators greater control during harvesting operations. "We're always looking for ways to improve the operator experience," said Andrew Bish, CEO of Bish Enterprises. "Mechanical follow-steering was a natural next step because it gives operators more control and reduces the space needed to maneuver the machine in the field. It's a practical enhancement that helps make FiberCut more versatile in real-world harvesting conditions." Previous FiberCut configurations relied on a fixed rear axle. With the new mechanical follow-steering system, the rear axle steers in coordination with the tractor, allowing the machine to follow more naturally through turns and reducing the space required to maneuver during field operation. The mechanical follow-steering option is built around a newly engineered rear axle assembly and steering linkage and will be offered as an optional package on new FiberCut machines. Certain newer FiberCut models will also be eligible for future retrofit upgrades. Bish Enterprises introduces New Implement Mover for header transport and equipment handling. * News Release * Posted: June 17, 2026 GILTNER, Neb. - Bish Enterprises has introduced the Bish Implement Mover, a universal equipment handling platform designed to help agricultural equipment dealers, service departments, custom harvesters, and producers safely move, transport, service, and test headers across multiple equipment brands. The system addresses a long-standing challenge throughout the agricultural equipment industry: the lack of a commercial solution capable of safely and securely handling multiple header brands while working across a wide range of lifting equipment. Built around a Universal Inner Frame, the Bish Implement Mover can be configured for John Deere(R), Case IH(R), CLAAS(R), New Holland(R), Gleaner(R), Massey(R), and Fendt(R) combine and forage headers while attaching to telehandlers, wheel loaders, forklifts, skid loaders, tractors, and combines through a wide range of mounting systems. "Historically, most header movers were homemade, brand-specific, or designed for a single application," said Andrew Bish, Chief Executive Officer of Bish Enterprises. "We wanted to build a universal platform that gives dealers and operators the confidence and flexibility to move equipment safely and efficiently regardless of the brand they're working with." One of the newest features is the Combine Mount Assembly, which allows the Implement Mover to attach directly to a combine feederhouse. The system enables dealerships and service departments to lift, maneuver, service, and perform operational run-checks on headers that would normally be incompatible with the combine being used. "This capability can significantly improve efficiency in dealership service departments," Bish said. "Instead of requiring multiple machines to test different headers, technicians can use the Implement Mover system to handle equipment that traditionally could not be connected to that combine, or rather use a lifting implement that avoids having to engage the combine at all." The Implement Mover was engineered to replicate the secure latching systems found on modern combines, forage harvesters, and 3-point quick-hitches, creating a stable connection between the lifting implement and the header being transported. When properly latched and operated according to safety guidelines, the system provides an OSHA-compliant solution for equipment handling. In addition to header transport, the platform includes a 3-Point Implement Mover capable of handling an industry-first range of Category 1 through Category 4 implements, providing a single solution for a broad range of agricultural equipment. The system is designed for heavy-duty applications with lifting capacities up to 18,000 pounds and can be customized through a growing catalog of mounting assemblies developed for telehandlers, wheel loaders, forklifts, tractors, and specialty equipment. According to Bish, the Implement Mover has applications well beyond production agriculture, including equipment dealerships, auction companies, custom harvesting operations, service facilities, equipment manufacturers, and trade show logistics. "At its core, this product is about solving an equipment handling problem that has existed for decades," Bish said. "Our goal was to create a safer, more versatile, and more efficient way to move and manage equipment across brands and across platforms."
