Requirements
  • 8+ years of inventory, production control, and materials management related experience in automotive, OEM, Tier 1 or related technical field, at least 3 of which are in management positions
  • SOX, ISO, IATF, MMOG/LE Audit experience of Inventory and Materials Management Processes strongly desired
  • Experience using SAP enterprise resource planning and warehouse management systems required, SAP EWM and SAP S4 HANA experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • APICS and/or ASCM certification and Program Management experience a plus
  • Experience in leading automotive or high performance team orientated in fast-paced work environment
  • Understanding of problem-solving methods such as Root Cause Analysis, Lean implementations, Six Sigma operational and Visual Management standards preferred
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Responsibilities
  • Build and lead inventory control team focused on auditing control processes specific to General Inventory Controls
  • Manage the day-to-day operations for a team of Production Control analysts that will support shop level compliance and execution and troubleshoot any issues. Ensure work efficiency and appropriate utilization of these specialized resources
  • Responsible for setting up, running and continuously improving controls management governance structure with cross functional stakeholders
  • Development and monitoring of KPIs and associated Dashboards
  • Build business process requirements and communicate them to the appropriate IT and cross functional development teams for any new process implementation
  • Lead workshops that include our operations teams and any cross-functional stakeholders to determine controls gaps and/or continuous improvement opportunities
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the department in conjunction with any new system functionality to ensure process stability and consistency; build out training content to support the rollout of these procedures to the appropriate audiences
