Submarine Program Manager, Lead
The Opportunity:
The right leadership is key to a successful program, and it takes a skilled Program Manager to guide their program through the complexities of its life cycle. That’s why we need you, an experienced Program Manager who can ensure our business development and program execution goals are met.
As a Program Manager on our team, you will drive and develop a deep understanding of emerging customer requirements, build relationships, and develop capture strategy, messaging, target audience segmentation, analyses, and opportunity pipeline development. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams in client delivery and manage contracts. You’ll contribute to the development and leadership of integrated client solutions, including growth offerings in digital transformation, data science, cyber security engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering, analytics, and management consulting to include human capital strategy and workforce development. You will coordinate and work with extended teams to build the brand and achieve business objectives. You’ll assist in positioning for and capturing opportunities and lead subsequent resulting tasks.

You Have:
10+ years of experience as a Submarine Officer or Engineering Duty Officer
5+ years of experience managing submarine programs
Knowledge of submarine acquisition programs and challenges, including construction, submarine defense industrial base efforts, AUKUS, stakeholders, and policies
Knowledge of DoD appropriations and the PPBE process
Ability to engage key client stakeholders to identify needs and discuss firm capabilities and services
Ability to work as part of an integrated account and opportunity capture team in a matrixed organization with a collaborative and a team-centric culture
Ability to analyze market needs and identify viable business development opportunities by understanding a diverse set of corporate capabilities and matching them up with client needs
Ability to manage a contract, including monitoring the cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects while interacting regularly with technical and programmatic functional leadership and outside stakeholders

Experience working in or with OPNAV on programs, policies, and budgets
Experience with submarine construction, fielding, operations, and maintenance, including depot level maintenance and processes
Experience with SUPSHIP
Knowledge of Defense Industrial Base (DIB) issues and challenges
Possession of excellent written communication skills
TS/SCI clearance
Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
