Requirements
  • The role requires two years of related work experience.
  • The role requires a valid driver's license and eligibility to be insured to drive campus vehicles.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all administrative elements of clinical activities for the Paramedic Science program, including scheduling management and coordination with affiliate clinical agencies and locations.
  • Deliver clinical supervision and other program-specific responsibilities.
  • Schedule student clinicals and activities with Paramedic Science affiliates.
  • Collect and organize student shot records, criminal background documents, physical examinations, and other student clinical documentation.
  • Maintain student clinical records, attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate with faculty concerning the needs of the Paramedic Science clinical programs.
  • Review and develop clinical curriculum in compliance with accreditation and State Emergency Medical Services guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all College policies.
  • Ensure applicable program accreditation policies are followed.
  • Participate in the accreditation and assessment process.
  • Adhere to all Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions requirements to maintain accreditation.
Desired Qualifications
  • An associate's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • An Indiana Paramedic License is preferred.
  • An Indiana Department of Homeland Security Primary Instructor certification is preferred.
  • An American Heart Association Instructor qualification in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support is preferred.
  • A National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians Instructor qualification in Prehospital Trauma Life Support, Advanced Medical Life Support, and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care is preferred.
  • An Indiana Emergency Vehicle Operator Course instructor qualification or equivalent is preferred.
