Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise printing, endpoint engineering, systems administration, or related enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline is required; an additional 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement, for a total of at least 13 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, enterprise print servers, and printer administration.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, co-management, and cloud-based endpoint management technologies.
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for deployment automation, endpoint configuration management, operational support, and compliance remediation.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise endpoint lifecycle management, deployment methodologies, device configuration standards, and operational engineering practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise printing infrastructure within large-scale IT environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience supporting structured operational processes within enterprise IT organizations, including Agile or Scrum delivery environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting operational sustainment and modernization initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, security teams, vendors, operational leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • United States citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
  • Willingness and ability to update identification documents in a timely manner if needed to complete the suitability process.
Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and deploy enterprise printers, multifunction devices, print servers, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Configure printer drivers, firmware, print queues, device policies, and security settings.
  • Support enterprise printer deployments and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, print queue, network connectivity, and user access issues.
  • Monitor printer health, availability, and operational performance.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with vendors and internal support teams.
  • Administer enterprise print servers, printer queues, user permissions, and device configurations.
  • Maintain enterprise printer inventory and support asset lifecycle management activities.
  • Assist with deployment planning, operational readiness, and production implementation efforts.
  • Apply firmware updates, security patches, and configuration changes.
  • Support vulnerability remediation and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
  • Participate in engineering reviews and security validation activities supporting enterprise printing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, implementation guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in engineering working sessions, deployment planning meetings, and operational reviews.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements that enhance service delivery, deployment consistency, and operational efficiency.

  • Experience with enterprise endpoint security, compliance frameworks, and device management best practices.
  • Experience supporting deployment automation, endpoint analytics, and operational reporting initiatives.
  • Experience supporting medical printing environments or healthcare-related printing technologies.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, JAMF, or other relevant endpoint engineering certifications.
