Campbell River launches new app for recreation programs and service information. Published 11:30 am Thursday, March 19, 2026 By Campbell River Mirror Staff The City of Campbell River says the Recreation in Campbell River app streamlines the process for accessing and booking programs. (Screenshot/City of Campbell River) Accessing information about recreation programs in Campbell River has become more convenient with the City of Campbell River's new app developed by Xplor. Called Recreation in Campbell River, the app is a new mobile platform that offers easy, on-the-go access to recreation programs and service information, according to the city. Users can access the most up-to-date schedules, program details, and activity information in one place. They can also browse, sign up for, and pay for programs; manage memberships; and scan in using a digital membership card, all on their mobile devices. Complete registered-program cancellations in the app, if doing so within the cancellation window. Private rentals continue to be handled using existing channels. To get started, download the app at campbellriver.ca/recreation-app. Residents can log in with their Xplor (formerly PerfectMind) account details. If they don't have an Xplor account already, they can create one online before logging into the app.
