  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in communications/public relations fields with a track record of successful developing relationships with reporters and securing coverage
  • Exceptional client management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create and manage integrated PR/marketing plans and timelines
  • Strong command of traditional, digital, social and integrated marketing tactics
Responsibilities
  • Work with colleagues on the internal PR team, global marketing and external agencies to create, refine and deliver differentiated media driven activity in support of the firm’s corporate PR strategy and State Street’s individual business units’ objectives
  • Develop media campaign strategies around the business’ latest thought leadership, including topics such as asset stewardship, retirement, emerging markets, quantitative investing and private credit. Develop or strengthen relationships with global, national and regional press contacts both within our day-to-day business.
  • Build collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and partners to align PR strategy with business objectives
  • Independently own programs/campaigns from concept through to execution
  • Compose and edit content including press releases, bylines, talking points, media briefings social and digital media
  • Support media interactions of business stakeholders at industry conferences
