- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
- 0–2 years of audio-visual or information technology support experience is required.
- Basic understanding of audio systems, video displays and projectors, audio-visual signal flow, networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, and Microsoft Teams or Zoom is required.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely is required.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites if required is necessary.
- Ability to obtain and retain a public trust level clearance is required.
- Assist in installing audio-visual equipment such as displays, projectors, speakers, microphones, cameras, and control systems.
- Configure and test video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Cisco Webex.
- Run, terminate, and label audio-visual cabling including HDMI, CAT6, and audio cables.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Respond to and track service request tickets using ServiceNow.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades.
- Support live meetings, presentations, and special events.
- Prepare documentation, wiring diagrams, and installation reports.
- Work with senior engineers during system integration and commissioning.
- Follow company safety standards and installation best practices.
- Provide basic user training and technical support.
- Certified Technology Specialist certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Knowledge of Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or Shure.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Microsoft Visio.
- Familiarity with audio-visual-over-IP technologies.
