- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related field required with 8+ years progressive experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and contract management.
- A high level of business acumen and comfort working in a cross-functional environment
- In-depth knowledge of supply chain, purchasing principles & concepts and manufacturing processes
- Ability to assess suppliers’ capability to manufacture products that meet Midmark’s QMS expectations and compliance to all regulations required of a finished medical device
- Excellent communication (written/verbal), negotiating, relationship building and interpersonal skills with ability to influence
- Strong analytical capability with demonstrated adeptness at problem-solving and ability to not only view details but also understand big picture implications
- Flexible, detail oriented, and able to quickly act under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, utilizing Excel, databases, and BI tools
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead global multisite cross-functional teams
- Experience with sourcing and/or supplier management for products within an FDA-regulated medical device industry is preferred
- APICS, CSCP, CPIM, ISM, CPSM, or CPSD certification preferred
- Creates, implements, and maintains Sourcing Strategies for OEM products needed to effectively support the overall business strategies. Plans shall incorporate a broad range of objectives including cost reduction, supply chain optimization, market and commodity forecasting and advanced technology awareness.
- Prepares and conducts RFQ/RFQ’s and analyze quotes. Conducts, analyzes, and performs cost break down analysis to support negotiations, to result in best overall cost and commercial terms.
- Leads sourcing support for the Business Development team in evaluating, commercializing, and maintaining opportunities to procure or acquire finished products.
- Develops an in depth knowledge of assigned commodities, global supply markets, new technologies, supply landscape and pricing trends to support business functions.
- Leads cross functional teams in complex contract negotiations, identifying key commercial needs, ultimately resulting in favorable terms for Midmark.
- Provides total landed cost breakout to pricing, product development and marketing teams.
- Effectively leads cross-functional teams and aligns internally on best strategies to maximize value to the organization.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams to provide sourcing solutions for OEM products.
- Maintains a travel schedule with teammates as required with special emphasis put on key strategic sourcing partners.
- Develops and executes global risk mitigation strategies.
- Provides support to manufacturing locations for supplier performance issues related to quality and delivery.
- Meets company and department goals in continuous improvement of all products, services, and processes.
- May lead and direct the work of other teammates.

Midmark introduces next-generation dental operatory and smart mechanical room solutions. Posted: February 19, 2026 Edited by Dentaltown staff Versailles, Ohio - Midmark Corp. has launched a new generation of connected dental operatory solutions and smart mechanical room equipment. The updated Midmark Dental Chair, Delivery System and LED Light are designed to improve connectivity, ergonomics and workflow efficiency while supporting patient comfort and provider musculoskeletal health. Midmark also introduced the Smart Air Compressor and Smart G-Vacuum, which provide practices with visibility into mechanical room performance, equipment status notifications and tools to help reduce unplanned downtime. The launch also includes the next generation of Midmark Steam Sterilizers. Company officials said the new systems are intended to support integration, reliability and long-term performance across the clinical environment. Midmark RTLS has launched its Bluetooth Low Energy Sensory Network, offering healthcare facilities a faster, more cost-effective path to facility-wide real-time location tracking. The system uses plug-in BLE sensors to provide near-room location precision of 3-5 metres for staff, patients and equipment. The solution supports critical use cases including asset tracking and staff duress, with minimal infrastructure investment and rapid deployment. Midmark is also releasing a BLE/IR Hybrid Sensory Network in limited early release, combining BLE coverage with infrared technology for room-level precision to support advanced applications like nurse call automation and patient flow. Since 1988, over 1,100 hospitals and clinics have deployed Midmark CareFlow RTLS. The new system is designed as an enterprise-wide platform that can scale with operational needs.
