- Responsible for configuration and ongoing maintenance of Workday
- Collaborate with the HR cross functional team to continue to build out and optimize our Workday ecosystem.
- Assist with strategy and technology road map for our Workday ecosystem
- Participate in documenting design strategies, technical business requirements and road maps for Nordic’s HR systems
- Configure and support existing Workday modules (HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning and Advanced Compensation)
- Must have experience with workday PeakOn tool and will support building out employee surveys
- Leverage experience and suggest best practices and lessons learned when rolling out new functionality
- Thoroughly test configurations through unit testing and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) across functional teams.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and change management of configuration modifications.
- Handle projects with ambiguity from design to deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration related issues
- Create advance reports using complex calculated fields
- Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure good data hygiene
- Evaluate Workday release enhancements and work with functional leads to determine what enhancements should be adopted, timeline for adoption, testing and rollout.
- Staying current with industry trends, identifying and researching new technologies
- Working on projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary
