Assists the Talent Manager with recruitment activities such as job postings, application review, interview scheduling, and coordination
Secures the integrity and confidentiality of HR data by maintaining employee and organizational information, files, and records effectively
Assists the HR team with various administrative processes that occur within Workday
Supports New Employee Orientation (NEO) by processing new hire tasks assigned by the HR Representative and Talent Manager, including but not limited to processing new hires in Workday, completing I-9 verifications, and securing sun cards for new employees
Maintains inventory for new hire bag materials and orders additional supplies as needed
Responsible for sending out employee communications, providing administrative support, and ad-hoc reporting for the HR department as needed
Assist with Inclusive Excellence data analysis for internal reporting and dashboards
Support with the creation of Inclusive Excellence newsletters and other communications
Assist with all aspects of event planning for Employee Resource Groups and support ERGs where necessary
Participates in various HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Other duties as assigned

A current undergraduate or graduate student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Psychology or related field
Two (2) years of experience working in a customer service environment
The student must be willing to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement
Experience working within the Human Resources department
Experience with Workday
Familiarity with HR best practices
Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
