  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Two years of experience working in a customer service environment.
  • Willingness to sign and abide by a confidentiality agreement.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Talent Manager with recruitment activities, including job postings, application review, interview scheduling, and coordination.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR data, including employee and organizational information, files, and records.
  • Assist the HR team with administrative processes in Workday.
  • Support New Employee Orientation by processing new-hire tasks, including processing new hires in Workday, completing I-9 verifications, and securing Sun Cards for new employees.
  • Maintain inventory for new-hire bag materials and order additional supplies as needed.
  • Send employee communications, provide administrative support, and prepare ad hoc reports for the HR department.
  • Assist with Inclusive Excellence data analysis for internal reporting and dashboards.
  • Support creation of Inclusive Excellence newsletters and other communications.
  • Assist with event planning for Employee Resource Groups and support ERGs as necessary.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working within a Human Resources department.
  • Experience with Workday.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
