We are looking for a talented production technician for the manufacturing of 3D printers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing and assembly of 3D. As a printer manufacturing technician, your job will be to build the next-generation technology for additive manufacturing. This person is required to take goods from schematic to finished product of industrial 3D printer.This individual should be able to manage the numerous priorities that come with a fast-paced additive manufacturing company.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, and rework the mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and unit assemblies.
- Performs wire/cable preparation, installation, routing, crimping, or torquing.
- Use of tools to assemble parts and frames into a finished product.
- Completes all work per written work instructions, drawings, or SOP to prescribed standards.
- Ensure all parts and assemblies adhere to specified quality standards.
- Assure the assembly parts are available and parts are in established sequence through established procedures to assure quality and operation.
- Following SOPs and recording the steps to assure the printer specifications are accomplished.
- Work in a safe and responsible manner by following all safety and health guidelines.
- Perform other related duties, as necessary
Qualifications
- High School diploma required.
- 2 – 5 years experience in support of an assembly or in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions including technical drawings and process documents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent follow-up skills.
- Great record keeping and data entry skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with web-based tools
