Hunting PLC secures $63.5M Guyana orders, cuts 2026 EBITDA guidance to $138-141M on Kuwait tender delay

Hunting PLC reported a 6% revenue decline to $497.0 million for the first half of 2026, with EBITDA falling 12% to $62.1 million. The drop was attributed to the absence of Kuwait Oil Company orders from the previous year and slower activity in Advanced Manufacturing. The precision engineering group secured $63.5 million in new titanium stress joint orders for ExxonMobil's Guyana operations. Strong performances in Perforating Systems and Subsea product groups offset weaker results elsewhere. The company declared an interim dividend of 7.0 cents per share, up 13% from 6.2 cents in 2025. A $40 million share buyback programme is underway, due for completion by March 2028. Hunting revised its 2026 EBITDA guidance to $138-141 million due to delays in Middle East tendering caused by regional instability. Chief Executive Jim Johnson announced his retirement, with a search underway for his replacement.
