GenFlat and Group Global One trial collapsible shipping containers in Vietnam

GenFlat Holdings and Group Global One have launched a 90-day commercial trial of collapsible shipping containers in Vietnam. GenFlat will provide eight 40-foot collapsible containers and two "Gennies" units for deployment across Group Global One's operations. The collapsible containers are designed to reduce space when empty, allowing four collapsed units to occupy the space of one conventional empty container. This aims to cut costs associated with storing, handling, and repositioning empty equipment. Group Global One owns and operates ICD Phúc Long Port and other logistics assets in Ho Chi Minh City. The company plans to showcase the technology at a live demonstration in Ho Chi Minh City in October 2026, bringing together shipping lines, logistics firms, and government officials from across Southeast Asia.

Merry Edwards Winery opens second tasting room in Anderson Valley

Merry Edwards Winery has opened a second tasting room in Anderson Valley, California, marking its largest expansion since joining the Roederer Collection in 2019. The new location in Philo reflects the winery's growing commitment to the region, where it began producing wines with the 2021 vintage. The winery now produces Anderson Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay alongside single-vineyard offerings, farming over 80 acres of estate vineyards across both Anderson Valley and Russian River Valley. The coastal climate offers different expressions of these varietals compared to Russian River Valley. The original tasting room in Sebastopol remains operational. Merry Edwards Winery, founded in 1997, specialises in terroir-driven wines.

Melio launches expense management tool that works with existing business credit cards

Melio, a financial operations platform owned by Xero, has launched Melio Expense Management for small and midsize businesses. The tool allows companies to track and categorise card expenses in real-time without switching credit cards. Unlike traditional expense management tools, Melio lets businesses keep their existing cards and rewards programmes. When cardholders make purchases, they receive an SMS or email requesting a receipt. Users can snap a photo and upload it without downloading an app. Melio then extracts details, categorises expenses, and syncs with accounting software. The platform uses AI to automate receipt collection and expense categorisation. Approximately 90% of Melio's small business users already pay expenses with their own cards. Melio will unveil the product at Xerocon 2026 in August.
