  • B.S. in biological sciences, bio/chemical engineering, or similar experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience in academia or industry
  • Experience with Molecular Biology techniques including NGS prep, DNA and RNA purification
  • Experience crafting standardized operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Prepare Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) single-cell and bulk RNAseq libraries
  • Complete QC, normalization and pooling of final libraries
  • Load library pools onto in-house Illumina sequencers, troubleshoot sequencing issues, breakdown/maintain/wash instruments
  • Assess quality metrics to evaluate assay performance
  • Communication with external vendors
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with single cell and bulk RNA-seq
  • Familiarity with liquid handling systems
  • Experience working with automated NGS library prep methods
