Requirements
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior product or technology leadership role, preferably within a benefits, HR technology, or SaaS organization.
  • Strong background in product-focused development, particularly in the areas of employee benefits, HR software, or related domains.
  • Extensive experience with modern software development practices (agile, DevOps, continuous integration).
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, insurance, and compliance (HIPAA, COBRA, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and inspire large cross-functional technology teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to translate business goals into technology strategies that drive product innovation and business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with the company's overall goals and market opportunities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep the company’s products at the forefront of innovation.
  • Drive long-term product planning, including exploring new business models and revenue streams, and partnering with the sales team to identify paths to monetization.
  • Develop a long-term vision for the evolution of the platform, incorporating emerging technologies and market trends in the benefits industry.
  • Ensure the product and technology strategy supports seamless integration with clients' existing HRIS, payroll, and other benefits-related systems.
  • Lead the engineering and product teams in designing, developing, and launching new benefits products or enhancements to existing offerings.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in benefits technology, user experience, and automation of complex workflows.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Lead and manage the entire product lifecycle, including ideation, design, development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
  • Drive the recruitment and retention of top talent across engineering, product development, and IT functions.
  • Champion the use of agile methodologies and modern product development practices to maximize efficiency and adaptability.
  • Ensure a customer-first approach by integrating user feedback, data analytics, and customer insights into product decisions.
  • Conduct market research, user testing, and A/B testing to refine and optimize products.
  • Create a seamless user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) for all products, focusing on simplicity, scalability, and innovation.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform product decisions, track product performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define key product metrics (KPIs) and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Continuously optimize product features based on data-driven insights to enhance product market fit and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and compliant technology solutions in line with industry standards (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
  • Ensure that all products and platforms adhere to the highest security protocols to protect sensitive benefits and employee data.
