As a Software Engineer Intern on the Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) and Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) organizations, you’ll have the opportunity to drive projects, solve unique challenges, while diving deep into our processes and tools supporting development of robust and highly performant client/server ecosystems.
You’ll get placed into one of our multiple teams that directly impact on the top-line revenue for our company.
Managing your project end-to-end, including designing, developing, testing, releasing, and monitoring software solutions
Partnering with various cross-functional teams to solve critical problems across the PSET and PDMSorganization, while working in a scrum team environment
Have technical ownership of your code, and ensure code quality by testing (unit, integration and load tests)
Get exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) could platform services.
Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis
Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree seeking program with an expected graduation date in 2026
Strong Computer Science (CS) fundamentals, with a proficiency in either Java, C++, Python, Go, JavaScript, or Groovy to develop components and service
Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies
Prior software engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other related projects
Prior experience in Terraform and GraphQL is a plus
Knowledge of CI/CD tools
About the US Intern Program
The 2025 U.S. program runs for 12 weeks (May 19 – August 8 or June 16 – September 5). All internships are paid. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects, be mentored by industry leaders, and participate in tech talks and other activities designed to support your personal and professional development. Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience, educational level, and geographic location, and can exceed this range.
For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting annualized intern base salary to be between:
- $47,840 and $95,680 (undergraduate students)
- $72,800 and $118,500 (Masters/MBA students)
- $118,560 and $162,240 (PhD students)
