The Opportunity:
The role will leverage deep experience in business management and business development to lead the creation and execution of learning strategies that align with critical business objectives. This role requires an individual who can blend business acumen with leadership expertise, positioning them as a trusted partner to senior business leaders across the organization. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong background in business operations, finance, project management, and proposals but will also excel in engaging with executive-level stakeholders to influence and drive learning initiatives that directly impact business performance. This individual will lead a team of learning strategists, each managing a portfolio of curricula that supports business growth and operational excellence.
The role demands visionary leadership to shape the learning and development function in support of broader business strategies. The candidate must be able to translate complex business needs into impactful learning solutions, navigate high-stakes conversations with senior leaders, and ensure the rapid delivery of projects that meet evolving organizational demands. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
10+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams in the design and execution of learning programs, including in business management, project management, and business development domains
Experience managing high-impact learning initiatives that align with organizational goals, delivering measurable business outcomes, and driving performance improvements
Experience engaging with C-suite and senior leadership, providing strategic guidance, and building credibility as a trusted advisor in learning and development
Knowledge of business management, project management, and business development principles, including finance, contracts, and proposals
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and how to align learning programs with organizational goals and industry standards
Ability to serve as a key advisor to senior business leaders on learning strategies that drive performance, business growth, and operational efficiencies
Ability to lead the development of learning strategies that are tightly aligned with business goals, including business management, finance, project management, and business development, ensuring the organization is equipped with the skills to compete in a fast-moving environment
Ability to oversee a diverse portfolio of learning programs, ensuring that each curriculum is designed to support the business’s growth objectives, including in areas such as contracts, pricing, and proposals, while providing leadership to a team of learning strategists
Ability to continuously innovate the learning portfolio to ensure it meets current and future business needs, bringing fresh, impactful learning methodologies and technologies to deliver fast-moving projects in a high-pressure business environment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $122,200.00 to $227,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
