Meet the team:
Our MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) within the Equipment Maintenance Team works with all the manufacturing areas at Dexcom. We facilitate spare part supply, storage, and management for critical componentry that keep our manufacturing equipment operating at world class levels.

Where you come in:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring smooth spare part and asset management operations across shifts; while supporting attendants, engineers, and technicians.
This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Support: Provide assistance to attendants during any normal shift, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to perform their duties effectively.
Shift Continuity: Continue tasks that are passed from shift to shift, maintaining consistency and efficiency in operations.
Item Location Guidance: Offer guidance when items are not easily located or are in alternate locations, utilizing an extended knowledge of item locations in all storage areas.
Procurement Support: Assist other shift procurement and attendant items, ensuring timely and accurate procurement processes.
Vendor Quotes: Gather competitive quotes for items, starting with local vendors first, and follow guidelines for obtaining competitive quotes from vendors.
Order Placement: Place orders based on historical use data and monthly spending guidelines, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.
Relationship Management: Maintain good relations with all personnel within and outside the MRO department, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Guidance and Support: Provide guidance and support to all MRO personnel and MES personnel, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Issue Escalation: Escalate any issues that arise that cannot be resolved with onsite resources, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Shift Event Documentation: Provide detailed pass down of shift events, ensuring clear communication and continuity between shifts.
What makes you successful:
Technical Experience:
Equipment Parts Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of equipment parts and their functions, ensuring accurate identification and procurement of necessary components.
Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize technical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting equipment issues, providing support to maintenance teams as needed.
Inventory Management Systems: Proficient in using inventory management systems to track and manage equipment parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and availability.
Excel and Microsoft Office: Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, enabling effective data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
CMMS and Maximo: Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Maximo, ensuring efficient asset management and maintenance operations.
Asset Management Enterprises: Experience with asset management enterprises, contributing to the effective management and optimization of company assets.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Knowledge of inventory management and procurement processes.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in inventory control or a related field.
Familiarity with MRO and MES operations.
Technical experience related to equipment parts and functions.
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with CMMS, Maximo, and asset management enterprises.
