Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in commercial contracts, including in technology and professional services (in-house experience is preferred)
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in one or more U.S. states
  • Basic knowledge of commercial contract law; comfortable with using technological terms and understanding technology and data licensing concepts
  • Strong writing, speaking, and people skills
  • Embrace a collaborative and consultative approach to your work
  • Organized; willing to take initiative to make process improvements where possible
  • Experienced with contract management systems and legal review processes
  • Experience working with procurement teams and/or market data is preferred
Responsibilities
  • Supporting our commercial contracts and procurement processes
  • Reviewing and negotiating NDAs, master services agreements, professional services agreements, license agreements, and other commercial contracts
  • Consulting and advising our internal Procurement, Market Data, Technology, and other Infrastructure teams regarding commercial contracts
  • Advising the larger business of the firm on day-to-day contract issues that arise in our global offices
