Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor's program at an accredited US based university or college
  • Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior in undergrad
  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
  • Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment to support multiple activities simultaneously
  • Works on assignments that range from routine to moderately non-routine in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations
  • Good planning and organizational skills coupled with strong time management skills
  • Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel and other reporting and tracking tools
Responsibilities
  • Supports the PDM Supplier Relationship Management deployment (preparation of SRM meetings, summaries and action plans, cadencing, organizing of documentation)
  • Develops a Key Supplier information database (key contacts, goods/services, supplier profile, spend, performance, etc.)
  • Cleanses supplier spend to align with category taxonomy migrated from Oracle to SAP
  • Evaluates supplier reliability and performance by developing, utilizing and presenting supplier scorecards reflecting applicable metrics and KPI
  • Identifies stakeholders and collaborates to understand business needs, set service level expectations, monitor performance, mitigate risks and enhance communication
  • Compiles and analyzes non-routine information or data to support Supply Chain activities
  • Works on non-routine to routine problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Exercises judgment within well-defined and established procedures and practices to determine appropriate action - identifies problems and generates alternatives and recommendations within defined processes
  • Analyzes systems and processes to assess impact on business performance
  • Frequently collaborates with other departments to ensure functional area resources are sufficient to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Acts as a relationship manager for cross-functional or external contacts
  • May recommend and assist with the integration of new technologies and/or new processes as needed, to reduce costs
