Requirements

  • Self-motivated, highly accountable, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality-related accounting experience.
  • Prior hotel industry experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA designation a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on strategic financial initiatives and reporting.
  • Lead the timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce accounting policies, processes, and standard operating procedures across all properties.
  • Oversee cash management, payroll, and intercompany reconciliations at both the corporate and property level.
  • Monitor and review property-level accounts payable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze financial performance and property operations to identify opportunities for improved profitability and cost controls.
  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls at both the corporate and property levels.
  • Serve as primary liaison with external audit firms, ensuring successful completion of all audits and tax-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory payroll, property tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Travel up to 25% to properties and the corporate office to provide oversight, training, and support.
