Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavioral science, or a related field.
  • Registered Behavior Technician certification.
  • Must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation, and pass a background check.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to approximately 50 pounds and maintain varied postures for extended periods.
  • Tasks must be performed in person at an Emory University location; remote work is not an option.
Responsibilities
  • Implement individual and group behavior-analytic programs under the close, ongoing direct supervision of a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral.
  • Assist the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral with training staff or trainees on applied behavior analysis procedures.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to increase functional skills and reduce challenging behaviors that interfere with learning.
  • Maintain data on program parameters and targeted behaviors for program and progress evaluations.
  • Set up activities and provide direct care and instruction to groups and individuals with and without autism spectrum disorder, using evidence-based procedures and teaching strategies.
  • Collect and graph data and write session notes.
  • Assist the Board Certified Behavior Analyst or Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral with family training, behavioral assessments, and client-progress documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with national, state, and university practice policies and procedures.
  • Perform related responsibilities as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
