  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred)
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in multi-site dental practice management or operations, preferably within a DSO or mid-sized group
  • Strong knowledge of dental practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, billing, and insurance processes
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze financial and operational data
  • Familiarity with dental industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with the Company's overall goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute the company's long-term vision
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements, cost optimization, and efficiency enhancements
  • Provide leadership and direction to all operational departments, such as manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, facilities, and quality assurance
  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations, optimizing resource allocation and utilization
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and improve productivity
  • Monitor and evaluate operational performance using data and metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement
  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to department heads and managers
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the operations function
  • Recruit and retain top talent, identifying skill gaps and implementing training and development programs
  • Establish succession plans to ensure a strong talent pipeline for key operational roles
  • Identify operational risks and develop strategies with senior operations to mitigate them
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to provide a safe working environment
  • Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
  • Work with practice managers and revenue cycle team to optimize and maximize revenue generation
