Requirements
  • 6+ years of API testing experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a SaaS company
  • Proficient with creating backend API automation (Java preferred)
  • Proficient with creating SQL queries to aid in debugging / troubleshooting
  • Exposure to Git in a CI / CD environment
  • Experience with billing and payment processor integrations (e.g., Stripe) is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Learn how our billing system works, looking at product source code when necessary
  • Apply your debugging, troubleshooting, and software engineering skills to assess the state of our current automated tests; make a recommendation about what to improve and how to achieve it
  • Lead by example, develop new API test automation in close collaboration with your scrum team
  • Devise and execute strategies for load, performance, and functional testing
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and perform hands-on testing when required
  • Manage, mentor, and support your team to ensure their professional growth and alignment with best practices
