Requirements
  • Minimum of 4 years experience
  • Creative and good sense of design
  • Coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to come up with ideas and designs and bring them to life
  • Understanding of print process for all in store 2D graphics
  • Understanding and ability to work with fonts, communication hierarchy and Graphic design principals
  • Portfolio focused on beauty or luxury demonstrating all design stages
  • Focus on elevating self-navigation and in store consumer experience in all store environments, with guidance
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Materials, manufacturing, and installation execution knowledge
  • Experience in Boots/Sephora/Department Stores
  • Collaborative team player

Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent brand execution that adheres to global guidelines and brand standards across all Sol de Janeiro retail environments
  • Manage the downloading, storing and sharing out of all 2D & 3D assets to suppliers in a timely manner
  • Manage the 3D design development process through to approval for all retail activations, ensuring feedback and amends are complete in a timely manner
  • Work with the Assistant Manager - Visual Merchandising - Events and Activation to ensure all renders & assets are delivered to the suppliers & retailers
  • Work with the Assistant Manager Permanent Visual Merchandising on all collateral, communication strips & shelf talkers for all NPD launches, sharing final asset packs with the supplier, and seeing all printed collateral through to approval
  • Oversee and support the development of any local unit, POS for NPD and small to medium VM activations/events in collaboration with the VM team
  • Manage suppliers through a clear briefing process using your design skills for all assigned projects, managing timelines & budgets to launch projects on time
  • Review & approve detailed designs of all VM activations such as glorifiers & pop ups in partnership with Senior VM Manager
  • Receive briefs from the marketing team for 2D campaign initiatives across OOH (e.g. billboards, mall take overs) and brand events, and develop assets or brief agencies accordingly
  • Provide full suite of campaign assets to all marketing & PR agencies in good time
  • Direct & feedback to agencies on creative execution, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
