Responsibilities
  • Manage teams conducting end-to-end on-site hardware installation, removal, troubleshooting, and configuration for data center sites.
  • Monitor daily operations for teams replacing server components and upgrading servers for existing customers.
  • Manage teams implementing network communications and solutions, including cabling validation and networking equipment, and provide guidance on complex problems.
  • Engage additional resources to address complex or unresolved issues.
  • Manage teams supporting data center, customer, and operational environments; address escalated trends and document problem resolutions.
  • Manage responses to client outage situations.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Maintenance Operation Protocols.
  • Drive implementation, updating, and maintenance of required security controls for teams.
  • Manage team compliance with health and safety guidelines during on-site customer and office work.
  • Oversee technician training and skill development.
  • Manage team adherence to operational Data Center Change Control processes.
  • Facilitate collaboration with development teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Ensure contractors and vendors deliver quality services and meet Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and provide guidance on process creation and mentorship programs.
  • Create and own execution plans for team work and multiple projects or initiatives; monitor timelines and budgets when applicable.
  • Delegate work across the team and help prioritize work; identify resource needs and adapt plans to changing priorities.
  • Strengthen cross-team partnerships and guide team members in relationships with business leaders, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Lead the team in identifying and addressing moderately complex operational and technical issues.
  • Identify and recommend process, protocol, and workflow improvements.
  • Coach and direct team members through performance-management processes.
  • Facilitate goal-setting discussions and identify development opportunities for team members.
  • Lead candidate interviews, assess promotion eligibility, and manage talent resources.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
