Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a digital marketing, program management, engagement or community role
  • Experience with data analytics and/or have worked closely with data professionals
  • Ability to prioritize in a complex and fast-paced organization
  • Ability to adapt to change and pivot plans when necessary
  • Enthusiastic about building new connections with people from diverse roles and backgrounds
  • Enjoy fostering connections among them
  • Passionate about communities and excited to build this program from the ground up
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategy and execution of our digital community initiatives, including Community Slack, Discourse forum, Community email campaigns, our Community web presence, a monthly AMA series, Community spotlight, and more.
  • Develop new programs to increase membership and engagement within the community.
  • Be the face and host of our key digital programs.
  • Engage and build relationships with members of the dbt Community, answer questions and elevate helpful contributions from other community members.
  • Work closely with our in-person community program manager to ensure unified integration of experiences.
  • Collaborate with our campaigns, content, and web teams to build integrated community experiences that reach a global audience.
  • Partner with the sales and field marketing teams to enhance the discoverability of our product.
  • Coordinate with the marketing operations team to develop streamlined processes for our programs.
  • Analyze community engagement performance metrics including new, engaged and strategic members.
  • Recognize trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize future programming.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry news and dbt product updates to ensure that you remain knowledgeable about the latest trends and advancements.

dbt Labs Acquires SDF Labs for SQL Enhancement

Dbt Labs Inc. has acquired SDF Labs Inc. to enhance SQL code comprehension within its platform. SDF Labs, launched in June 2024, offers a framework for compiling and understanding SQL, built with Rust and integrated with dbt.
