Join us! The GoFundMe team is looking for a Strategy & Analysis, Senior Manager based in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will drive strategic initiatives and thought leadership for GoFundMe to help others help each other. The Senior Strategy Manager will use analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills to derive insights, solve business problems, and help teams execute on these strategies.
The Job…
- Independently drive major strategic initiatives for GoFundMe and Classy that push for effectiveness, efficiency, and growth while upholding our core values and mission
- Define project scope, develop approach, and lead execution of projects
- Use qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to test hypotheses to solve critical business issues
- Synthesize findings and deliver recommendations effectively to leadership
- Use a data-driven approach to support operations, partner with key stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives, and use influence to drive change
- Advocate for and partner closely with Operations to drive effectiveness and efficiency while improving the customer experience
- Present insights, ideas, recommendations, and research to executive leadership and stakeholder teams effectively
- Identify areas for process development & improvement and lead implementation of those opportunities
- Partner with product, engineering, data, legal, and operations teams to support new products, features, and initiatives
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape
You…
- BS/BA or higher degree in business, engineering, finance, mathematics, economics, or similar field
- 5+ years of experience in Management Consulting, Strategy, or related experience
- Experience partnering closely with product/engineering and operations teams
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Ability to think solve problems creatively
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong project management skills with great time management
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use frameworks to build structure to solve difficult business problems
- Excited about joining a team focused on helping others
- Believe in “we” not “me”
Bonus Points…
- MBA or other Master’s degree in a similar field
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, Looker, and/or SQL
- Experience working in the risk and/or compliance space
- Experience in the payments industry or similar space
- Knowledge of the social fundraising competitive landscape

The total annual salary for this full-time position in this location is $160,000 - $225,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
