Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Three to eight years of experience in engineering design or drafting within aerospace, defense, or a related industry is required.
  • Proficiency in CREO for three-dimensional modeling and two-dimensional drawing creation is required.
  • Experience producing engineering drawings in .drw format is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and document engineering requirements is required.
  • Experience with aerospace and/or spacecraft systems and subsystem design and development is required.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary facility access credentials.
Responsibilities
  • Develop complete three-dimensional and two-dimensional models and engineering drawings for spacecraft vehicles, systems, and/or subsystems using CREO.
  • Produce drawings in .CATDrawing or .drw file formats in accordance with program standards.
  • Ensure all models and drawings are complete and ready for peer review and final approval before submission.
  • Incorporate review feedback and manage drawing revisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering teams and interface directly with program stakeholders to deliver review-ready drawings, models, and documentation that meet program requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working on programs with NASA, commercial space, Department of Defense space, or other space and launch vehicle customers.
  • Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience with WindChill product lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with design review processes and requirements management frameworks.
  • Experience working in an International Traffic in Arms Regulations-controlled environment.
