Requirements
  • Strong background in molecular and cell biology techniques, including PCR, genotyping, immunohistochemistry, and Western blotting.
  • Familiarity with confocal microscopy and image analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics and data analysis software (Excel, GraphPad).
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain clear, detailed records of experiments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related field.
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Principal Investigator and junior researchers to conduct molecular biology experiments
  • Publish research findings (contribute to writing, and submitting manuscripts for publication)
  • Maintain accurate records of experiments and data in lab notebooks and electronic databases
  • Assist with training new students and junior researchers in laboratory techniques
  • Maintain lab inventory and order reagents, chemicals, and consumables as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with mouse models, including sample collection and processing (preferred but not required).
  • At least 1–2 years of laboratory experience in an academic or research setting (preferred).
  • Prior experience in in-vitro and/or in-vivo, genotyping, and immunohistochemistry is a plus.
