  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future or CPT/OPT through your University
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Masters/MBA/PhD program at an accredited US based university or college
  • Must be a Graduate or Doctoral Student
  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester at an accredited university/college after the completion of the internship
  • Must be able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August
  • Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship
Responsibilities
  • Focusing on developing robust in vitro enzymology or transporter assays, bioanalytical methods, or computational modeling to study the complex mechanisms of drug disposition and its translation from preclinical to humans
  • Get exposure to various ADME assays and analytical techniques (e.g., overexpressing cells, hepatocytes culture systems, and mass spectrometry) and/or modeling software
  • Under general supervision, planning and executing experiments, developing new assays, selecting appropriate reagents and controls, running software for PK analysis
  • Presenting and discussing results in team meetings
  • Showcasing your work with a final poster board presentation near the conclusion of your internship

Desired Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a master's degree or graduate program with a major in pharmaceutical science, biochemistry, cell biology, analytical chemistry, or other related life science majors
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
