Engineer Intern (Cloud Platform)
Location: Atlanta, GA
This is a hybrid position, with preference for the candidate to be located within 50 mi of our Atlanta, GA Elevance Health offices.
The Cloud Platform Engineer Intern will work alongside senior engineers to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, as well as experience with cloud-native development. The intern will also be responsible for providing technical support to customers and troubleshooting issues.
Students should have experience and education in:
Python, R, Java, C/C++, C#, Angular, HTML
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions
Text Analytics and Natural Language Processing, Sequence Labeling
Machine learning, Probabilistic and Statistical Learning Methods
Deep Learning, recurrent neural networks, Convolutional neural networks
Emerging topics in artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, conversational bots, and knowledge representation and reasoning
Advanced user of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 40 hour per week 8 hours per day May 20 to August 9
Currently enrolled in a masters program of study at an accredited college/university
Experience applying analytical, problem solving, written and oral communication skills in a diverse, high productivity, learning environment
Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
