Responsibilities
  • Lead Developer Engagement & Advocacy
  • Build, support, and inspire a global community of developers and content publishers, transforming them into enthusiastic advocates of Roku’s platform.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted technical leader by creating high-quality content, speaking at industry events, and engaging in forums, meetups, and hackathons.
  • Develop and execute a strategy to proactively engage with top media and entertainment technology leaders to strengthen developer relationships.
  • Enhance Developer Experience & Tools
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and Product teams to improve the developer portal, SDKs, APIs, documentation, and developer tools based on community feedback.
  • Drive the creation of technical resources, best practices, and self-service tools that help developers succeed in building on Roku’s platform.
  • Identify and remove pain points in the developer journey, making it easier for developers to onboard, build, and publish high-quality channels.
  • Drive Developer Programs & Content
  • Design and execute workshops, hackathons, webinars, and events to educate and engage the developer community.
  • Produce technical blogs, tutorials, sample code, and other content to showcase Roku’s capabilities and best practices.
  • Represent Roku at conferences and industry events, advocating for developer needs and ensuring our presence in the broader tech ecosystem.
