Requirements
  • 7+ years of IT management experience
  • Previous experience working with federal government systems is a plus.
  • Previous experience with implementing controls associated NIST SP 800-171 & 800-172 security compliance requirements.
  • Previous experience with cybersecurity including the U.S. DoD Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)
  • Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations including ITIL
  • In-depth understanding of MS-365, MS Azure, integration of external cloud business applications
  • In-depth understanding of AWS administration
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based IT applications and digital security
  • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
Responsibilities
  • Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
  • Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights.
  • Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking.
  • Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern cloud-based solutions.
  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
  • Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running.
  • Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory.
  • Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Perform cloud infrastructure and application administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
  • Maintain infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
  • Support and administer remote locations and employees.
