In this role, you will be part of a fast growing team with significant upside. Life Sciences is one of the fastest growing markets for Datavant with a lot of potential for growth. In the role you will work with Pharma to help them solve some of their most pressing use cases by enabling them to link Real-World Data (RWD). You Will:
- Own the prospecting, engagement, and acquisition of high-value pharma/biotech prospects for companies in the Northeast USA
- Create results-driven plan with focus on revenue generating prospecting activity
- Identify sales opportunities and lead all aspects of deal execution
- Lead negotiations, address concerns, and close deals
- Manage and own the end-to-end sales cycle, must be comfortable closing 6-7 figure deals
- Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our implementations, product, and engineering teams
- Present to C-level executives confidently
What You Will Bring To The Table:
- 5+ years of experience in a combination of business development, sales and/or management consulting with a leading healthcare related business or high-growth enterprise tech start-up
- Prior healthcare-related SAAS, middleware and/or data sales experience strongly preferred
- Strong contacts in the leading pharma/biotech companies
- Knowledge of drug development life cycle
- A consistent track record of exceeding aggressive sales quotas
- Excellent interpersonal and prioritization skills with keen analytic and quantitative skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues in all forms: written, conversational, negotiations, and presentations
- Unwavering focus on delivering customer satisfaction
- Self-starter with relentless energy and positivity
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to hustle to get things done
- Willingness to travel

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges are developed with the support of benchmarks (competitive San Francisco rates for US-based roles) and industry best practices.

The estimated salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 base with variable target tied to commercial goals.
