The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join our growing team. As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our mobile applications on the iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions that inspire our customers and drive our business objectives, and establish a world class mobile development team. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, medical professionals, subject matter experts to craft requirements, specifications, and user stories for mobile applications
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure mobile solutions for iOS and Android platforms using industry best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior team members, and provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to design patterns
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate mobile applications with server-side APIs
- Share your wisdom and insights to mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to help them level up their skills and grow
- Work together with our backend engineers to connect our apps to the cloud, databases, and third-party services
- Keep on top of the latest mobile tech trends and bring fresh ideas to the team
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 8+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on iOS and/or Android platforms
- Proficiency in Swift, React Native, Objective-C (for iOS) and/or Kotlin, Java (for Android), as well as familiarity with relevant frameworks and SDKs
- Solid understanding of mobile app architecture, design patterns, and development methodologies
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
- Passion for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible
- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Contributions to open-source projects, participation in tech communities, or attendance at conferences/meetups
- It will be great if you also bring experience leveraging ChatGPT, LLMs, and IDE co-pilot tools to accelerate the software development cycle and drive innovation

- Base salary for this role ranges from $114,000 - $159,600 in local currency depending upon experience
This is a remote position, the employee must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver.
