This role is not a commissioned based position.
This is a key position to grow and expand our customer base in IoT, industrial, smart video, home and consumer electronics in the US and Europe. This exciting position will give you exposure to a diversity of customers and their future products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify applications and customers that will drive growth and with sales develop them to meaningful revenue
- Generate sales collateral regarding target market application
- Train and educate sales and channel partners on market applications, product features and roadmaps
- Collaborate and strategize with sales and FAEs to win opportunities at top key accounts
- Work with corporate marketing on articles, blogs, white papers and press releases
- Present roadmaps and product features to customers
- Gather market requirements and work with product management to ensure future products are aligned
- Identify opportunities to open new markets with modifications to existing product portfolio
- Collaborate with ecosystem partners to ensure Western Digital products are on their AVLs and reverence designs
- Work with internal teams and partners to develop demos for trade shows

REQUIRED:
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated hunter
- Technical sales or marketing experience
- Excellent collaboration, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to master wide portfolio of storage products
- Ability to travel as needed to customer and partner locations
