Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years performing repairs and maintenance on packaging equipment or related machinery
  • 2-year technical degree (required)
  • Basic understanding of PLC operation, VFD operation, vision systems (Cognex preferred), and automated warehouse systems
  • Proficient in Google or Microsoft word processing and spreadsheets
  • Capable of managing daily workflow with little to no supervision
Responsibilities
  • Conduct repairs, maintenance, and morning startup on packaging equipment, conveyors, air compressors, and other automated systems in the warehouse
  • Utilize controls software (Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Cognex Dataman, etc) to aid in diagnosing complex automation issues
  • Be an active team member in a cross functional team to monitor area metrics, and drive equipment performance
  • Manage, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and rebuilds within the warehouse
  • Use CMMS to maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and inventory
  • Perform electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical tests to determine root cause of failures
