  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Iron Worker in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel components and their installation processes.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate cranes, aerial lifts, and other construction equipment.
  • Excellent welding and bolt-up skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Be able to pass background and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Erect and install structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications.
  • Perform welding and bolt-up activities as required to secure structural elements.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment to fabricate, measure, and cut steel beams and columns.
  • Safely operate cranes and aerial lifts to lift and position structural components.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members, such as welders, fabricators, and engineers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
