Requirements
  • Prior experience working in funeral service, including handling families, remains, and partners.
  • Ability to build trust quickly with families and partners and communicate with care in sensitive situations.
  • Dependability, attention to detail, punctuality, and preparedness.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership without close oversight.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 100 pounds in the field.
  • Availability for full-time work, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
  • Build partnerships with crematory partners and serve as Meadow's representative in those environments.
  • Own the return of cremated remains, including splitting ashes, handling United States Postal Service mail-outs, and personally delivering remains to families.
  • Complete first calls during business hours from medical examiners and hospitals.
  • Plan and coordinate funeral services and memorials with families, venues, and other parties.
  • Track transport and crematory vendor performance and raise issues when vendors fall short.
