Requirements
  • You are an innovative thinker, and can use your skills to open up possibilities for your peers and partners
  • You know what great experiences look like, with the ability to work across platforms, and your portfolio shows it
  • You advocate for our customers, for product design consistency, and design excellence, promoting design education within the greater organization
  • You value data & insights as the foundation of creating experiences, actively gathering information to inform your design choices, and working closely with Research & Data Science

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end product design experience
  • Strong UX/UI/visual portfolio: e.g. showcasing thoughtfully designed, painstakingly crafted experiences with depth and clarity, inclusive of insights gained from testing and shipping
  • You are a strong design thinker and practitioner who knows how to find the balance between customer experience and business outcomes
  • You set the bar high, and you know what great craftsmanship looks like. Your talent should be evident in your portfolio or case studies, demonstrating skill across platforms
  • You advocate for our user experience, product design consistency, brand voice, and design excellence
  • Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Design & ship world-class experiences - You will create delightful shopping experiences that help customers effortlessly shop. Your work makes shopping tasks easy and next steps clear for customers, which in turn drive business outcomes
  • Collaborate, influence, and negotiate - You are skilled in collaborating across different business units and advocate for product consistency. You influence senior leadership within the company and rally them around doing right by the customer. You negotiate tactical tradeoffs with other cross-functional partners in an effort to balance design excellence and roadmap completion
  • Represent and advocate for the team's priorities - You are an advocate for the design voice in the planning & development process, with a focus on cross-functional alignment and work prioritization
  • Fill design's seat at the table - You partner with peers across the organization to ensure a cohesive user experience across themarketplace, and help shape the culture of the design organization
  • Contribute to the design system - You understand how to work with a design pattern library, and know when to work with and extend for the benefit of experience clarity
Desired Qualifications
  • Ecommerce experience preferred
  • Experience with Cart & Checkout, Payments programs, a plus
