Requirements
- Must have Nurse Practitioner license or at least Registered Nurse experience in Surgery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Unit.
- Must be willing to work 40 hours per week and to take call every 2 nights.
- NP must reside within 30 minutes of campus when on-call.
- No new graduates unless the resume clearly shows prior surgical or first assist experience or clinicals.
Responsibilities
- Function as a First Assistant in surgery.
- Serve in an 80% hospital/surgery and 20% office role.
- Be part of a team of two other Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants.
Desired Qualifications
- Endovein harvesting experience strongly preferred.
- Experience functioning as a First Assistant in surgery (if not already counted under responsibilities).
- Cardiovascular Operating Room experience with roughly 200 cases per year (CVOR cases) preferred
