Leeds Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office 

What you'll do: 

The Inventory Specialist is a crucial member of the operations team and is responsible for efficiently managing stock levels, organizing storage spaces, and monitoring inventory movements within a company or organization. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure smooth stock operations.

• Manage inventory levels, including tracking movement, reporting non-compliance, and conducting regular stock audits.

• Identify and manage slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged stock, ensuring appropriate action and coding is applied.

• Oversee receiving and dispatch processes, ensuring deliveries match purchase orders and resolving receipt queries.

• Align inventory data between 3PL WMS, Oracle systems, and DOMO reports, ensuring KPIs are met.

• Act as the point of contact for quality issues, ensuring inventory holds are communicated and resolved efficiently.

• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate stock movements and address inventory challenges.

• Generate clear, regular inventory reports to highlight levels, movement trends, and discrepancies.

• Identify and implement process improvements for greater inventory accuracy and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics is a plus.

• Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or related fields.

• Proficiency in inventory management software, WMS, Oracle/SAP, and MS Office applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
