Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience as well as a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Operations / Project Management / Facilities and at a multi-site business
  • Proven experience developing and implementing operating plans, and analyzing financial and quality data; experience in developing and/or operating management service organizations beneficial; retail experience in operations / store operations is preferred
  • Must have proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a wide range and level of employees
  • Must possess practical and technical knowledge of project management and its application to a retail structured business
  • Must possess strong communication, interpersonal, organization, writing and project management skills
  • Team Player, with a collaborative mindset, leadership through influence of resources
  • Must be detail oriented, accurate, have the ability to multitask and handle multiple projects. Must possess computer skills with working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office Suite including project management software
  • Must be flexible and able to deal with changing priorities
  • Personal passion for fitness and/or the SoulCycle brand is required
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior management to help establish long term goals and objectives for teams within the overall company
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of how the business operates, its abilities and challenges, manage existing, as well as anticipate,issues and provide innovative, actionable solutions
  • Mentor and lead the corporate Operations team in all projects, strategy and development initiatives (including creating SOPs, training resources, etc.)
  • Oversee the Facilities team to ensure the condition of our studios is a cornerstone of our success and rider experience by closely representing the SoulCycle brand
  • Work cross functionally with departments and studio management to reduce operational costs by analyzing areas requiring improvement. Develop cross-functional internal processes that ensure solutions and go-to-market strategies align with customers' short and long-term needs
  • Project manage all system process roll outs and launches across corporate departments and studio field teams
  • Oversee strategic sourcing and procurement of studio supplies and amenities programs
  • Manage all facilities and maintenance programs including upholding brand standards at the studio facilities
  • Work with the rest of the Operations team and the People team to define and structure regulatory, safety compliance and crisis management across all studio locations
  • Maximize efficiency and improve profitability by directing and coordinating the financial and budgeting process with the finance department
  • Coordinate logistics for strategic business partnerships, events and pop ups
  • Implement and oversee new technologies, and support the proper use of current technologies
  • Streamline and manage communication for studio team workload as a key stakeholder alongside Field Leadership team
  • Review financial statements and sales and activities reports
  • Project manage and lead processes related to new studio openings and/or studio closures (temporary or permanent)
